Frequently asked questions
Therapy helps you heal. Coaching helps you grow.
Therapists and licensed clinicians are trained to treat mental health conditions, work through past trauma, and address patterns that require clinical expertise.
Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused. It’s about building confidence, mindset skills, communication tools, and habits that support performance and personal growth. I don’t diagnose, I don’t treat, and I don’t replace therapy.
If at any point I believe you’re navigating something outside my scope—something that would be better served by a licensed mental health professional—I’ll be upfront about it and help point you in the right direction.
My role is to support you, not to pretend I’m qualified for something I’m not.
I blend:
• Professional ICF training
• Three decades of coaching athletes
• Neuroscience-backed mindset work
• A grounded, real-world, relationship-first style
• Zero judgment, zero ego, and a ton of belief in the kid sitting across from me
My goal isn’t to “fix” them. It’s to help them see themselves clearly and build a mindset they can trust.
No. And honestly, anyone in this space who does promise results isn’t being truthful. Every young person is different. They grow at different speeds, respond to different approaches, and come in with their own mix of experiences, pressures, and goals.
What I do guarantee is effort, clarity, structure, and accountability. I show up prepared, present, and fully invested. And when a client shows up curious, open, and willing to grow, the progress can be real and noticeable.
I can’t promise outcomes—but I can promise the work that makes outcomes possible.
